The average price for top selling gifts in the 80s and 90s was $48. From 2000-2011 the average price for top selling gifts was $244. As you can see, gifts have gotten much more expensive over time.

So how can you buy your loved ones the gifts they want without going broke? Collaborate! Social gifting allows others to share wishlists so that friends and family can pitch in to get the things they want.
