Normally when you think of hacking, it involves some illegal or questionable activity. But this new “hack,” when applied to Facebook, just serves the purpose of making you cooler than your friends. The new “Photostream” feature on Facebook’s revised profile structure makes it possible to slice up an image and spread it across your profile, effectively setting yourself apart from the run-of-the-mill profiles that we see everyday. Here are some examples.
The process is quite simple, and all you’ll need is a photo editor that’s just slightly more advanced than what your computer probably came with. Refaceme.com details the instructions right here, but in summation, you’re going to choose an image, resize it, cut it into five pieces, and then tag yourself in reverse order. As you can see, the results are pretty awesome! It’s cool seeing Facebook get a little modified, but in a much cleaner manner than what used to go on over at Myspace. So go ahead, get creative!
